How to delete a page in Word
Unwanted blank pages are mainly caused by manual page breaks which lose their function later. In standard view mode, Word hides the corresponding control characters, which makes clearing the page much more complicated. By intervening on the display mode of the commands, everything will be much simpler. To help you is the function that allows you to view the break characters . You can activate this function by clicking on the paragraph mark “¶” in the “Home” tab . Doing so shows you the break characters.
To delete a page in Word, you must also delete all paragraph marks and the manual page break.
This will make it easier to delete the correct points. The paragraph marks and page breaks are clearly displayed on this screen. Move the cursor in front of the character and press the Delete key . If there are no more characters on the page to be deleted and you have also removed the page break, Word automatically deletes the corresponding page.
If it is not a blank page, but one that has content, you must first remove text, images and tables. The simplest way to do this is to select the corresponding area with the mouse and then delete it . At this point it is possible to remove the remaining paragraph marks and thus proceed with the deletion of the entire page.
